Before you start

With this set-up you run KoonScan straight from the source code: handy for trying a new version before there is an installer. You need access to the private code repository. For a customer, always use KoonScan-Setup (Manual 2).

What you need#

  • The laptop with SAP Business One 10.0 (FP 2608) and the Service Layer.
  • Administrator rights on Windows (to install).
  • Your GitHub account (the code is in a private repo).
  • Two SAP users who are superusers: one with an Indirect Access licence and one with a Professional licence. KoonScan is meant for the Indirect Access user; test with both.
  • A test company (a copy of your company database, for example JISDEMO). KoonScan really posts in SAP. Always test in the test company first, every new version too: that is a condition of the licence (terms and conditions, article 4.7).
